Looking back at 2012 – Our Achievements

The main goals for the Trust for the year 2012 were to continue to financially sponsor and support eight tsunami orphans and their guardians and sponsor a needy student of Sacred Heart Convent, Galle as a gesture of respect to Rosina Nanayakkara.

In keeping with our mandate and in accordance with our goals, this year, we financially sponsored and supported the eight tsunami orphans and their guardians and we also offered a scholarship to a needy student of Sacred Heart Convent, Galle. The recipient has excelled in her Advanced Level examinations and has been selected to attend University. We also offered two more scholarships to two needy students of St. Thomas' College, Kotte.

We are proud to have sponsored the second and final day of the “Our World XVI” exhibition held in Colombo, Sri Lanka by mentally challenged special needs young children and adults of Supem Uyana, Meth Mihira and Dayamina. See photos  of the exhibition here.

We are also extremely proud to have organized the Hearts in Harmony benefit show: a concert of music, drama and song to raise funds for the Trust and its projects. The show was held at Sacred Heart Convent, Galle on February 3, 2013. See more of the show here.
